How to Use This Tool
Getting Started
This interactive tool helps you perform comprehensive full spine measurements on AP and lateral X-rays. Import your patient's X-ray image, select measurement tools from the floating panel, and place reference points to calculate key biomechanical parameters.
Measurement Workflow
- Import X-ray: Click "Choose X-ray Image" to load a full spine X-ray. Adjust image opacity using the slider.
- Open Tools Panel: Click the "📐 Tools" button on the X-ray to reveal measurement tools. Click "Hide" to collapse.
- Select Tool: Click one of the measurement buttons. The active tool will be highlighted in green.
- Place Points: Click on the X-ray image to place measurement points (4 points per measurement).
- View Results: Click "📊 Results" to view measurements with color-coded indicators.
- Pan Image: Click "🔄 Pan" to reveal navigation arrows for repositioning the X-ray.
Measurement Tools Explained
- Scoliosis (Cobb Angle): Measures lateral spinal curvature. 4 points. Normal: <10°.
- Cervical Lordosis: Measures neck curve from C2-C7. 4 points. Normal: 31-40°.
- Thoracic Kyphosis: Measures upper back curve T1-T12. 4 points. Normal: 20-40°.
- Lumbar Lordosis: Measures lower back curve L1-L5. 4 points. Normal: 40-60°.
- Sagittal Vertical Line (SVL): Vertical alignment from C7 to sacrum. Normal: <20mm deviation.
- Plumb Line Analysis: Overall body alignment assessment.
- Pelvic Alignment: Measures pelvic obliquity. Normal: <3°.
- Shoulder Height: Measures shoulder level difference. Normal: <10mm.
